THE WHO AND WHAT: Speak America is a national resource organization committed your personal growth and development! We help people create and live lives of intentional legacy. We do that through motivation and inspiration, mastery of skills, and mentoring programs.

THE VISION: Vision of speak America is endless, timeless, beyond eternity – a continuous full circle of people serving people. It is the concept of PAY IT FORWARD AT AN EXPONENTIAL RATE! Our vision is to help you find your voice and live a life of intentional legacy. The vision has two streams: First, continuously helping people create a legacy, and second, keeping those legacies active and alive. We can change the world, one voice at a time, one person at a time. We can be remarkable…you can be remarkable…We dare you!

We believe every single person has a gift to offer the world. The challenge is most people don’t believe they have that kind of value, self worth, and power. Let’s make the assumption they do!

Second…most people don’t believe they have the ability to make a difference. Their hearts tell them they want to make a difference…the problem is their brain tells them they can’t. They say they are not smart enough, talented enough, rich enough, not educated enough…am I talking about you yet? Most likely I am …If you are someone who wants to give more, if you are someone who wants to do more, if you are someone who wants to be more…then Speak America is the organization for you.

HOW THE CONCEPT STARTED….the inception of speak America started at a meeting where An individual shared how we could make a million dollars in 18 months. This was a tremendous concept, but it didn’t inspire me. As I was driving home my mind kept going over the ideas. I thought why not turn it around a little. How can I reach more people…how can I give one million people their voice in 18 months. With that simple drive back to Raleigh NC my dream and my vision got clearer and clearer.

The second piece came as I was speaking to one of the particapants in my class. I realized that some people found their voice as they gained their skills . they found that they could now share their voice. In almost every class I would ask students …if you could b doing anything…no limitation at all……what would it be? 99% tell me they would be doing something different. What I learned was this……when people find their voice they find their purpose ….when they find their purpose, they find how they can make a difference. I have found most people find their purpose from their pain or their passion.

Both Glenna and I have found our voice from our pain. Glenna from her experience in not choosing herself.  Me…from not being true to myself.

The third key to the idea behind speak America was a concept of Teach America. What an awesome organization…

THREE KEY FOCUS AREAS:

SPEAK AMERICA has three keys areas to help you find, develop and use your voice. The three areas cover the game of your needs. BUSINESS SPEAK, LIFE SPEAK AND YOUTH SPEAK. No matter what your area of expertise is SA is dedicated to make sure your creating the maximum impact. In each group we are striving for people to find their vocation. We define vocation as the combination of your true self and your true service. This is your true purpose. When these are in place…’ LIFE FLOWS EFFORTLSSLY!!

ULTIMATE BUSINESS SPEAK- this focus area is for anyone who is communicating on any topic in the business field. This could be speaking about a company, service , product, solution a business concept. People involved in the focus area are executives, sales people, management, technical individuals, project management, entrepreneurs, small business owners, self employed and anyone else involved in the aspect of business

ULTIMATE LIFE SPEAK- this focus area is dedicated to individuals who are speaking about more life experiences, cancer, personal tragedy, overcoming personal issues, life changing experiences, autism, abuse, drug issues, the list is endless. People in this focus area are as broad scoped as the topics that they share about. These people range from children to the elderly.

YOUTH SPEAK-this focus area is committed to helping our young people find their voice. This area works on helping young people find their vocation earlier than later.
